Lobo softball takes the series against Boise, but lose in finale

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE)- Lobo softball looked to complete the sweep at Boise State on Sunday, but fell short losing 7-5.

The Lobos jumped out to a quick lead in the 1st inning as Chelsea Johnson would give the Lobos a 3-0 lead after a 2-run-homer un. That marked her 4th of the series and 8th in the past 7 games.

The Broncos would creep back though to take the lead in the 4th. They go on to win 7-5. UNM is now 22-21 overall and 7-10 in conference play. They now head home to take on New Mexico State on Wednesday. That game will start at 5 pm from Lobo Field.
