La Cueva Takes the 6A District 2 Title

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It was a heated battle at the end of the season for the class 6A District Title.

In the end, the La Cueva Bears would take home the title as they won eight straight games to close out their season and finished with a 10-2 district record.

Eldorado would take second with a 9-3 district record. Both the Eagles and Bears would sweep in their final double headers on Saturday.

The big question is now where will these teams sit in the 2016 State Baseball tournament.
