ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Public Schools met with parents and teachers Monday night to discuss the district’s new academic master plan.
New APS Superintendent Raquel Reedy says the plan will focus on preparing students for the future starting in kindergarten.
That means supporting kids who may not be getting food, healthcare, or guidance at home so that they are able to learn in the classroom.
The first meeting was held in the Rio Grande High School library.
The second of four meetings is scheduled for next week at Highland High.
