ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Two local organizations have teamed up for a great cause that benefits Albuquerque animals.
Animal Human New Mexico and Rude Boy Cookies have collaborated for the Cookie Paws Cause.
For the entire month of April, made from scratch paw shaped cookies decorated with Animal Humane’s logo will be sold in efforts to raise at least $5,000 for homeless pets. $1 of every paw shaped cookies sold will be donated to Animal Humane.
Leah Remkes with Animal Humane, along with owners of Rude Boy Cookies, Kristin Dowling and Michael Silva joined KRQE’s This Morning team to talk about the cause while making dog treats. Watch above.
Cookies can be purchased Rude Boy Cookies or they can be ordered online.
Cookies can also be shipped to pet lovers near and far. The shop also offers vegan and gluten free options, ice cream treats and New Mexico’s only Milk Bar, which features ice cold milk and chocolate milk on tap.
