One local organization set to build their largest project in history

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A local program, Catholic Charities, is embarking on their largest project in history.

For more than seven decades, New Mexican Catholic Churches have dedicated themselves to find solutions to pressing challenges of the Albuquerque community.

Dolores Nunez, Carol Tonihka, and Cindy Frame with Catholic Charities joined KRQE’s This Morning Team to discuss the large project. Watch above.

The project is a $5.1 million capital campaign to construct a new community service center, Casa de Carozon.

A total of $4 million has been raised so far.

The center will be located in the South Valley and construction has already begun.
