John’s Tuesday Afternoon Forecast

Quiet workweek before a more active weekend...

Expect more sunshine and warming temperatures through the end of the week as our most recent storm continues to pull away from New Mexico. Afternoon highs will reach the upper 70s in Albuquerque by the end of the week.

We’re watching another storm for the weekend. There is still quite a bit of disagreement on model tracks. The European model takes the storm well north of the state, pushing most of the showers into Colorado. This would mean a windy, but dry weekend across New Mexico. The U.S. Model takes the storm squarely through the state. This would mean less wind, but more widespread showers and storms for the state.
