Hobbs police investigate child’s death

HOBBS, N.M. (KRQE) – Hobbs police are investigating the death of child.

Officials say the 4-year-old was found unresponsive Monday in the 600 block of east Kiva.

HPD said the child was taken to Lea Regional Medical Center where the child was later pronounced deceased.

Police say the investigation into the child’s death is ongoing and they are asking anyone with information to call police at (575) 397-9265 or Lea County Crime Stoppers at (575) 393-8005.
