ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE)- The Lobos held their end of the year banquet on Friday, and the general consensus from the team was disappointment on how their 17-15 season went. There were definitely some highs and lows in their last season, but they are excited moving forward.
They will bring back 9 of their 10 top scorers from last season and they also bring in some good talent. They of course lose Cullen Neal, and they needed to find a point guard fast. They did find a top High School recruit named Jalen Harris. Harris is a 6’2 point guard from Raleigh, North Carolina.
He is a senior at Word Of God Christian Academy, and is said to be very athletic and good from the perimeter.
“You know we had to get a point guard of that caliber and he wasn’t easy to get, you know and he is a highly recruited kid but we needed to fill that position obviously. I think he will get a chance to potentially start we will see how it goes”, said Associate Head Coach Chris Harriman.
