Isotopes drop second straight game 10-7

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE)- The Albuquerque Isotopes are now 1-2 at home this season and 5-6 overall this season as they lost to Tacoma on Sunday in 11 innings 10-7. The Topes trailed by 3 in the 3rd inning but went on to rally back to tie it after a solid showing in the home half of the 3rd.

They went on to take a 4 run lead in the 5th, but the Isotopes once again lost steam late in the game. The Rainiers rallied back and scored 4 runs in the 7th to tie it up, sending this one into extras. In the top of the 11th Tacoma would score 3 runs and the Topes were unable to answer back.

The Rainiers out hit the Topes 19-13 in the 10-7 victory. These two will finish up their series on Monday at 12pm. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
