Chris’ Sunday Night Forecast

Mountain Snow and Scattered Rain will continue for central and northern New Mexico tonight.   The snow could be moderate to heavy at times across the Northern Mountains.   That is where an additional 4-8″ with some isolated higher totals are possible overnight into Monday.

The mountain snow will continue during the day on Monday with afternoon scattered showers and a few storms tracking across western New Mexico into central and eastern areas.   There could be a few leftover rain showers in far eastern New Mexico early Tuesday morning.   But, by Tuesday afternoon the skies will be clearing out all around the state as drier moves in from the west.

By Wednesday, an area of high pressure builds over the Desert Southwest and this will warm temps back up into the 70s & 80s by week’s end.
