Chris’ Saturday Night Forecast

Rain and snow continues across central and northern New Mexico right now and it will last until later this evening.   Overnight, the rain and snow will taper off before a cold front dives into the Eastern Plains on Sunday.  This will trigger another round of scattered snow and rain showers across the north and eastern portions of the state.   Temperatures will remain chilly for this time of the year on Sunday afternoon.   The scattered shower chances will continue for central and northern New Mexico into Monday.   By Tuesday our slow moving storm system will finally exit to the northeast.   Then an area of high pressure will build over the region for the middle of the week.  That is when the sunshine and warmer than normal temperatures will return to New Mexico!
