NEW MEXICO (KRQE)– An eagle found seriously injured is being treated right here in New Mexico.

This Golden Eagle was found in the oil fields north of Roswell with a broken wing.

The Land of Enchantment Wildlife Foundation along with the Santa Fe Raptor Center, worked to save its life.

Unfortunately, because the injury was older, part of its wing had to be amputated and the eagle will live out its life in captivity.
