ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Video showing an Albuquerque Police officer helping a homeless woman is racking up views on Facebook.

APD posted a video to Facebook over the weekend of Officer Andrew Cook helping a homeless woman move her things from the I-25 frontage road near Osuna. APD says he didn’t want her to get hit by a car, so he pulled over to help.

As of Monday morning, the video had more than 12,000 views and over 100 shares.
