ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police are beginning another day of searching for a man who they say is responsible for a deadly motel shooting.

It happened just after 3 a.m. Friday at the Best Choice Motel near Central and Louisiana.

Detectives say 30-year-old Michael Herrera was shot and killed following an argument among several people. Another 35-year-old man was also shot in the leg.

Police say they’re looking for for a Hispanic male between 5’8″ and 5’10”, with a light complexion, very short or shaved light brown hair, medium build. He also has a black cross tattoo on the inside of his forearm.
