Deputies search for teen accused in after-prom party stabbing

Diego Mark is accused of stabbing a high school student in an after prom party

KIRTLAND, N.M. (KRQE) – The search is on for a New Mexico teen accused of stabbing a high school student an after-prom party.

San Juan County Sheriff’s Deputies say 18-year-old Diego Mark pulled out a knife and started threatening them after getting into a fight.

Witnesses told deputies Mark stabbed one of the students when he tried to take the knife away from him.

A warrant has been issued for Mark’s arrest.

Deputies say he may be driving a white Ford truck with New Mexico license plate MGY168.
