Kristen’s Friday Morning Forecast

Soggy finish to the work week - more to come next week...

FRIDAY: Scattered rain showers will continue to push north into central NM as more rain fills in further south. Expect a full day of on & off showers and thunderstorms – favoring western and central NM. Gusty overnight winds will back down some but will not disappear completely. Expect breezy conditions 15-25mph to continue through late day. Afternoon temperatures will be significantly cooler than what was felt Thursday as most of the state looks will top out in the 50s, 60s and low 70s.

SATURDAY: Majority of showers & storms will fade overnight, however, there is a chance for a few spot showers to linger into Saturday morning. Expect a drying trend to take over through late day. Afternoon temperatures will be significantly warmer than how we finished the work week as highs return to the 70s in the ABQ-metro area.

SUNDAY: As Friday’s system clears, we get ready for another moving in from the west. Spotty to scattered showers will favor areas near the AZ/NM stateline with increasing cloud cover pushing west to east.
