UNM students hold rally in protest of stun gun ban

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE)– Some students who are upset about University of New Mexico’s decision not to allow stun guns on campus held a rally at UNM today.

They did it on the same day UNM hosted a safety day.

Students had their picture taken and were able to fill out a survey asking about their campus safety concerns.

Organizers of the protest tell us they’re not trying to undermine the student organization, but that they too want their voices heard.
