Roswell officer saves man found unresponsive in parking lot

ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – A man who suffered a serious head injury is alive thanks to a Roswell police officer’s quick thinking.

Police say people found the man lying in the Denny’s parking lot just before 10:00 Monday night. When officer’s arrived the man was unresponsive and without a pulse.

That’s when Officer Scott Oldani began CPR. A short time later the man started breathing again and his eyes opened.

According to police, the man told the couple that initially found him that someone hit him.
Police are now trying to identify a suspect in the case.
