WEDNESDAY: An overnight cold front will drop afternoon temperatures anywhere from 5-15 degrees across central and eastern NM. However, even with the quick cool down, most of us will still top out above average (widespread 50, 60s and 70s). Mostly sunny conditions can be expected statewide. And what’s better? Winds will be much lighter than what was felt on Tuesday.
THURSDAY: Clouds will begin to increase over the southwestern corner of the state with a few spot showers in the mix by late day. The rest of us can expect another day of sun and clouds with temperatures warming 5-15 degrees above Wednesday’s temps.
FRIDAY: A Pacific storm to our southwest will help push moisture into the state, increasing from southwest to northeast through the day. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible – favoring the western half of New Mexico. Although we’ll take the moisture, our temperatures will take a hit as most of us drop another 5-15 degrees.
