Grass fire ignites in northern New Mexico

LAS VEGAS, N.M. (KRQE) A grass fire started just east of Las Vegas early Wednesday evening.

Firefighters say it’s burned 1,200 acres but is now under control. Crews have it about 30 percent contained.

They say no structures are being threatened at this time.
