Nuclear Museum gearing up for summer camps

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A local museum is hosting summer camps where students can experience the wonders of science.

Week long summer camps at The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History have a number of different topics, fun for just about any student.

The “Science is Everywhere” Day Camps include themes like “Fact or Fairytale,” “Voyage to the Deep,” “Hogwerts,” “Spy Kids,” and much more.

Jennifer Hayden and Hanna Costello from the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History joined the KRQE This Morning team to demonstrate a fun science experiment. With using just items found around the house the two created a CD Hovercraft. Watch above. 

Day camps will be held children ages six through 16.
