John’s Tuesday Afternoon Forecast

A windy afternoon...

Another storm system will pass well north of New Mexico today, ensuring another windy afternoon. Gusts will top 45 – 55 mph, with the higher winds along and just east of the central mountain chain. That storm kicks out for Wednesday, allowing the winds to back off.

The end of the week will be more active as the next storm takes a more southerly track. Showers will be more likely across the state. With warmer temperatures, especially across the south and east, we will see more thunderstorms Thursday into Friday. The storm will clear out just in time for the weekend, but we will see slightly cooler temperatures.
