ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque Public Schools is paying out thousands of dollars again to settle another free speech lawsuit.

The district has agreed to pay $59,000 to Mark Bralley.

He filed suit in August 2013 accusing the APS board and staff of illegally kicking him out of open meetings, and trying to stop him from taking pictures and video.

The district refused to comment on the settlement.

In December, APS settled another lawsuit with a man they banned from school board meetings, paying him $575,000. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
