Albuquerque police join kids’ football game

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A few officers are getting a lot of attention on Facebook for how they handled a noise call involving some kids.

A neighbor captured video of some Albuquerque Police officers playing football with the kids.

The police were called to Copper and Juan Tabo by a neighbor complaining about the kids playing and yelling at cars. The kids and parents told police they did yell at a car to slow down because it was speeding.

Since there weren’t any other calls for the officers, they were happy the kids were out playing and decided to join them for some football. The officers also took some time to shoot hoops with more kids at a nearby park.
