Mark’s Monday Evening Weather Report

Dry For Now...

A storm system will pass well north of the state over the next few days. Strong winds and high fire danger will spread across New Mexico on Tuesday with gusts topping 50 miles per hour. The winds will come down on Wednesday with plenty of sunshine and highs in the low 70s. There is some promise late in the work week that moisture will increase from the Pacific. This pattern could provide some showers especially across western sections Friday. Long-range models all now indicate more storms heading our way next week. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
