ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – It’s not always easy to select the correct meat when planning to cook, but one local restaurant wants to help.

Texas Roadhouse is offering up some tips on how to prepare, select and cook meat to perfection.

Keith Bollinger, managing partner of Texas Roadhouse, joined KRQE’s This Morning team to demonstrate how to prepare pulled pork sliders. Watch above.

When selecting your meat, choose a slab with a bit of fat and no bone.

Pour seasoning on, rub and distribute evening. Adding minced garlic an liquid smoke will add a bit of extra flavor.

Cut the slab into a few pieces and set fat up in the pan with water.

Cook meat for about five and half to six hour until it reaches 195 degrees.
