ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Drivers heading to work or school Monday morning should know about some lane closures that could slow their commute.

Starting Monday, two out of three westbound lanes on Montgomery between Wyoming and Pennsylvania will be closed for the next few weeks. Eastbound traffic will also be reduced to two lanes.

Water Authority crews will be replacing a valve in the area. The closures are expected to remain in place through April 21.

Water service in that area is not expected to be affected.
