In celebration of the divisions 40th anniversary, they’re throwing a triathlon, kids race, and wellness fair. All levels of athletes are welcome to register. This is a sprint distant, reverse triathlon. Byron Piatt, Race Director, joined KRQE’s This Morning team to discuss the race. Watch above.

This is the third year UNM has hosted this event. All proceeds help the Summer Youth Sports Program which  is a healthy, safe, and fun summer camp primarily for children whose families cannot afford paid summer care. The program aims to help both children and adolescents make positive lifestyle choices while offering an alternative to being out on the streets during the summer break.
