13-year-old entrepreneur donates soaps to help homeless

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – One young man has worked tirelessly creating a soap business to aid the homeless.

Donovan Smith is a 13-year-old who has a remarkable story and is using it to help others who have been unfortunate just like him and his mother, Casey Smith.

Donovan and Casey Smith joined KRQE’s This Morning team to discuss their journey. Watch above.

The Smith family survived homelessness and they decided to give back and help others struggling in homelessness.

The young entrepreneur has began making soaps in efforts to fight homelessness. He once had a soap business, but has closed it to concentrate solely on making and donating hundreds of soaps monthly to shelters in need.

Donovan has turned to GoFundMe to help him finance the soap materials. All donations will go towards his mission to help the homeless.
