RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – The fight over what will happen to the Old North Nine Holes at the Rio Rancho Golf Course continues.
The North Nine Neighborhood Association’s attorneys released a letter stating they don’t agree with the updated plans proposed by Pulte Homes.
The letter states homeowners reject the zone change and housing development.
Golf course owner, Jhett Brown says he has to sell the area in order to save the rest of the golf course. Brown told KRQE News 13 that this decision is unfortunate, but they still plan to proceed with zoning.
He also says, Pulte did everything to address homeowners concerns and they’ve done all they could to come to some sort of agreement.
