UNM Beach Volleyball goes 4-0 in first home stand

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE)- UNM Beach Volleyball is in just their second season ever. They hosted their first home tournament at their home courts, Lucky 66 Bowl. The Lobos opened up the home stand on Friday with a 5-0 sweep over Colorado Mesa.

Then on Saturday the Lobos repeat their performance from Friday and sweep Colorado Mesa again. With Devanne Sours and Lise Rugland getting the 2 game sweep in their match against Colorado Mesa. Sours and Rugland went 21-11 and 21-10 in their sweep.

The Lobos then beat the very tough Arizona State 4-1, and finished up their home stand defeating New Mexico State 5-0. The Lobos now hit the road to play in the Wildcat Spring Challenge in Tempe, Arizona. First game is Friday at 12:30 pm against CSUN.
