Fire crews investigate apartment fire in Northeast Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque fire crews are investigating what caused a family’s apartment to go up in flames.

It happened just after 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning on Menaul near Chelwood Park in the northeast part of town.

AFD says when crews arrived there were flames shooting out of the roof. The apartment was damaged, but crews were able to save the units nearby.
