A ridge of high pressure will traverse the state on Friday leading to mostly sunny skies and highs near 70°. A powerful Pacific storm system will close in on New Mexico over the weekend. This system’s track has not been nailed down yet. Some models scrape it through northern New Mexico. This would lead to gusty winds and spot mountain snow. The other track digs the storm down much farther south. This would lead to widespread mountain snow and cool temps. Which ever way this works out, stay up to date with our nightly updates.
