4th arrest made in death of Albuquerque teen

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Police say another arrest has been made in the death of 17-year-old Jaydon Chavez-Silver.

Chavez-Silver was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting last summer.

According to the Albuquerque Police Department, 19-year-old Dominic Conyers turned himself in to police Thursday.

APD says Conyers was arrested and has been booked for Murder, Shooting at or from a motor vehicle, and Conspiracy to Commit a 1st or 2nd degree felony.

Conyers is the fourth arrest made in Chavez-Silver’s death.

Donovan Maes, 22, 21-year-old Christopher Cruz and 16-year-old Nicholas Gonzales Villasenor are awaiting trial for the shooting.
