ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – Another Roswell dairy worker, who was caught on video abusing cows, has agreed to a plea deal.
Cesar Morales-Iniguez was captured stabbing cows with a screwdriver, beating cows with his fists and whipping them with a thick rubber hose.
On Monday, he pleaded no contest to three counts of animal cruelty. The charges stemmed from an undercover investigation by Mercy for Animals at the Winchester Dairy.
As part of his plea deal, Iniguez will serve probation. He could have gotten three years of prison time.
Another worker also got probation. Two others are awaiting trial.
