Rio Rancho police sell shirts to help honor fallen officers

RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) The Rio Rancho Police Department is selling t-shirts to help them honor two officers killed in the line of duty.

The goal is to raise $15,000 for the Police Unity Tour. The officers will ride their bicycles 260 miles from Virginia to Washington DC in honor of Rio Rancho Officer Gregg “Nigel” Benner and Albuquerque Police Department Officer Daniel Webster.

The t-shirts cost $19 and will feature the names of all officers killed in the line of duty from across the U.S. last year.
