Albuquerque man dies in motorcycle crash in Cibola County

LAGUNA, N.M. (AP) – New Mexico State Police say an Albuquerque man is dead after the motorcycle he was riding crashed.

Authorities say the crash occurred around 2:40 p.m. Friday on Tribal Road 55 near Laguna.

Investigators say 67-year-old Michael Robertson was traveling eastbound when his motorcycle veered off the roadway.

They say the vehicle went onto the dirt shoulder and Robertson lost control for an unknown reason.

He was taken to University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque but succumbed to his injuries.
