ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A man who police say went on a violent rampage at an Albuquerque motel pleaded not guilty in court Monday.

Johnny Romero, 36, is accused of stabbing two guests in the lobby of the Motel 6 on University near the Big-I.

According to police, Romero stabbed the pair for “no reason at all.” A man from Los Lunas was killed and a woman from Georgia was injured.

A judge did not set a bond for Romero.
