Albuquerque firefighters, scooter dealership, replace man’s stolen scooter

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A mentally disabled man is back on the road after local firefighters and a scooter dealership teamed up.

Firefighters gave Patrick Griego the keys to a brand new scooter as part of Random Acts of Kindness.

Griego’s old scooter was stolen and because of a traumatic brain injury, that’s the only way he can get around.

The non-profit firefighters group decided to get Griego a new one with the help of scooter dealership Lobo Scooter.
