Rio Rancho voters pass road bond question

RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Rio Rancho is reporting a road bond question has passed.

The bond question will raise $9 million to repair and fix roads. Most notably, Sarah Road and High Resort.

Voters also passed an amendment to allow the mayor to have outside employment if approved.

However, voters will have to return to the polls to decide on two of three city councilors. The runoff election is tentatively scheduled for April.
