Deputies recover stolen vehicle, leads to supicious death investigation

SANDOVAL COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – Sandoval County Deputies discovered a stolen vehicle on Tuesday that officials say was used in crime spree in Albuquerque.

The vehicle, a gray 2015 Ford F-150 pickup, was abandoned on the Diamond Tail Ranch six miles east of the San Felipe Hollywood Casino.

Deputies further inspected the vehicle and found blood throughout the interior before sending it to Sandoval County Sheriff’s Office for processing.

The New Mexico State Police assisted Sheriff’s Office detectives with processing the pickup. Investigators found evidence likely associated with death.

The investigation is in its early stages.
