Chris’ Sunday Evening Forecast

Wind will be on the increase in the coming days thanks to a couple of weather systems that will be grazing New Mexico.   The first one will be passing to our north on Monday.

This will kick up the breezes to begin the week and it could trigger some gusty, dry showers on Monday afternoon.   The front will drop our temperatures by Tuesday. But, even with the drop in temperatures, our highs will remain above normal.

The wind will continue to remain strong into Wednesday and these winds, dry conditions along with warmer than normal temperatures will elevate the fire danger for parts of New Mexico for the middle of the week.

The weather pattern looks to change in another week.  That is when storm systems could start to dig farther to the south bringing back much need moisture after a very dry and warm February!
