Albuquerque settles lawsuit with family of APD shooting victim

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The city of Albuquerque has settled a lawsuit and will pay a family $12,000 for a deadly shooting involving Albuquerque police.

Parrish Denison was shot nearly three years ago as he was running from APD.

Police say he was with a group trying to sell stolen instruments to a music store in uptown.

Denison had a gun and police claimed he pointed it at them.
