Police investigate northeast Albuquerque shooting

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Officers are currently investigating a shooting that happened late Monday night in northeast Albuquerque.

At about 11:47 p.m., Albuquerque police officers were called to an apartment on Tulane near Comanche and Carlisle. When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot in the back.

The victim was taken to a local hospital. He is expected to survive.

Police say the man was at a party when he was shot in the back.

Detectives are investigating, but have not identified any suspects.
