Teen curfew bill tabled by lawmakers, dead for rest of session

SANTA FE (KRQE) – The bill that could have set a curfew for teens around the state is now dead.

A senate committee tabled the bill last night, meaning it’s now dead for the rest of session.

It would have allowed cities to impose a curfew for teens.

The bill was  named “Stevie’s Law” after bartender Steven Gerecke, who was murdered in his driveway last summer while trying to stop a group of teens on a crime spree.
