SANTA FE (KRQE) – A Santa Fe police detective is facing charges, accused of harassing a witness who was supposed to testify in a case against a fellow officer.
Sergeant Charles Lujan is accused of verbally threatening a police paralegal after she testified as a witness against Lieutenant Jason Wagner.
Wagner was in trouble for falsifying his time card. He pleaded no contest and resigned earlier this month.
As for Lujan, he’s charged with a misdemeanor for harassment. If convicted, he could face a year in jail.
