Chris’ Sunday Evening Forecast

It was a breezy and slightly cooler Valentine’s Day afternoon thanks to a weak, dry front that rolled in today!  The breezes will stay up for your Monday afternoon while the warm, dry stretch of weather continues.   This spring-like stretch will continue well into the upcoming week.  By the middle of this week, highs will be breaking into the 70s and even the 80s for most of central and southern New Mexico.  Albuquerque could come close to record high temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

It won’t be for another week until moisture tries to make a return to parts of the state.  A cold front could move in to eastern New Mexico by next Monday bringing the chance for showers and cooler temperatures.
