Local trainer offers at home guide to stay fit and healthy

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE)- There’s nothing more important than good health and one local trainer wants to help make it easy to maintain it.

Kristin Rowe is a certified personal trainer and owner of Delta Fitness.Rowe trains out of Powerflex Gym while also offering online services.

Rowe joined the KRQE This Morning team to show not only how to eat right, but how easy it is to stay in shape at home. Watch above.

A good diet starts with a healthy breakfast and Rowe shared recipe for her delicious Pumpkin Pancakes.

1/2 Cup of Instant Oats

1/4 Cup canned pumpkin

2/3 Cup of egg whites or 1 egg

1tsp Baking Powder

2-3 Packets of Stevia

Working out doesn’t have to be a chore, it takes less than 30 minutes and you don’t have to leave the house.

Here is Rowe’s work out:

Squat to press 12-15 reps

Renegade rows 12-16 reps

Reverse lunges to curl 16-20 reps

Planks hold for at least 30 secs

Just perform these as one giant step before resting and repeat three times.
