Local brewery hosts Hawaiian themed release party

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – One local brewery is teaming up with a local cafe to pair their newest seasonal brew with a dish that has a Hawaiian twist.

Boese Brothers Brewing is hosting a release party for their newest seasonal brew, Galaxy Double Indian Pail Ale. This craft is a tribute to a wonderfully unique Australian hop called Galaxy. The flavor starts out wit big passion fruit, citrus, and peach notes leading into a dry, bitter finish.

George Boese, owner of Boese Brewing Co., and Miguel Morrison, General Manager of Gold Street Caffe, joined KRQE’s This Morning crew to talk about their release party for the IPA and to talk about the Hawaiian Loco Moco dish the Caffe has paired with the season brew. Watch above.

The release party will start at 1pm on Saturday, February 13. Local musician, DJ Burnt Reynolds will be playing from 8pm until 11:30pm.
