Police: All clear after gun scare at Chaparral Elementary

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque police just gave the all clear after a gun scare at Chaparral Elementary.

Officers were dispatched to the school after three people were reported to be on campus armed with guns.

The northwest Albuquerque school was on lockdown while police determine if these subjects are still on school grounds.

Officers say that the trio is no longer on site, but are continuing their search in the surrounding neighborhood.

There are no reports of any shots being fired or injuries.
